WARIF is a non-governmental organisation that was established in December 2016 by Dr. Kemi DaSilva-Ibru in response to the high incidence of rape and sexual violence in communities across Nigeria where 1 in 4 girls are affected by this problem before the age of 18. WARIf helps victims through immediate medical intervention in cases of rape and sexual violence, through various preventive impactful initiatives in the education and empowerment of the girls, and with the provision of community outreach services in both rural and urban communities.
Mission: To build a society free of rape and sexual violence.

- Free medical treatment and forensic medical examinations through our Rape Crisis Centre
- Psychosocial counseling
- Access to shelters
- Acquisition of Vocational skills training
- Legal aid
- Case management and training of law enforcement officers about gender based violence and sexual
- A 24 hour confidential help line service is also available
