Q: Tell us about your organization.

A. QueenHype is organization that empowers girls from marginalized communities to feel confident, build community and advocate for social change.

Q: What is the one piece of advice you would like to share with other women looking to start an organization?

A. Never settle, you don't have to walk in your purpose under someone else's agenda you can and will have your own empire if you so choose.

Q: Who is the greatest female influence in your life?

A. The greatest female influence in my life is my eight year old daughter Lyric. She inspires me to be accountable and reach my full potential everyday; she shows me what is possible and gives me constant hope for the future.

Q: Please share with us something that you want other women around the world to hear.

A. I am a survivor, I have been attacked, threatened and violated more times than I can count. I decided not to be a victim but to be victorious. I want women everywhere to know and understand that our struggles don't make us weak or unfit, they make us resilient and ready to conquer any challenges ahead.
