Leader Spotlight: Sarah Caveney of MoveMe Studio

Q: Where do you live?

A. San Rafael, California

Q: Tell us about your organization.

A. I provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space for holistic and sustainable group and private fitness classes including Nia Dance, Pilates, and Yoga. We welcome all ages and fitness levels with an emphasis on building community. I believe community movement is the key to greater happiness and longevity.

Q: What is the one piece of advice you would like to share with other women looking to start an organization?

A. Know your mission and who you wish to serve first and foremost. Be bold, be creative, and don't wait for everything to be "perfect" before you get started. We learn as we go and our business will evolve as we do.

Q: How can WorldWideWomen readers get involved in what you are doing?

A. Sign up for my newsletter to be inspired by what we are doing here locally. Perhaps it will provide a necessary nudge to move forward in personal and community endeavors elsewhere.

Q: Who is the greatest female influence in your life?

A. Debbie Rosas, Founder of the Nia Technique

Q: Please share with us something that you want other women around the world to hear.

A. "Let him that would move the world, first move himself" - Socrates
