A. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Q: Tell us about your organization.

A. Philly Girls in Motion (PGIM) empowers girls through sports and fitness to develop self-awareness, build confidence and drive personal growth in a positive environment. PGIM serves girls from Philadelphia between the ages of 6 and 14 through after school fitness and community-based sports programs.

Q: What is the one piece of advice you would like to share with other women looking to start an organization?

A. Don't try to do it all alone. Find others who are passionate about your cause and work together to strengthen your collective impact.
