Q: Where do you live?
A. I live in San Francisco, CA and am from Philadelphia, PA.
Q: Tell us about your organization.
A. The mission of the Mocha Girls Pit Stop blog is to empower women to refuel on motivation and ignite their lives.
Q: What is the one piece of advice you would like to share with other women looking to start an organization?
A. You can never make adjustments and grow if you don't get started. Start TODAY and make improvements along the way.
Q: How can WorldWideWomen readers get involved in what you are doing?
A. WorldWideWomen readers can get involved by engaging with the content on the Mocha Girls Pit Stop blog and the H.E.R Space podcast. My cohost and I are diving into really deep conversations that have the ability to transform lives.
Q: Who is the greatest female influence in your life?
A. My mom. She taught me so many lessons that enabled me to be the woman I am today.
Q: Please share with us something that you want other women around the world to hear.
A. Whether your message comes in the form of a book, course, service, product or blog, someone in this world needs your message in order for them to move to the next level! Ultimately your gift isn’t about you, it’s about who you can serve. Some of us have survived the most adverse conditions. Some of us have made a way for ourselves when there was no way paved. We’ve pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps and chased a dream that statistics and society said we couldn’t achieve. Some of us have overcome obstacles that the rich and famous can’t even fathom! That’s worth something!
Q: What do you feel is your greatest achievement?
A. I believe my greatest achievement is making lemonade from the lemons life gave me AND sharing this lemonade with the world through my blog, Mocha Girls Pit Stop, my podcast H.E.R Space, and the love and light I try to share with those I encounter. The adversity I faced could have taken me out but I'm so grateful it made me better and not bitter.
