A. ROSE empowers women and children in Kenya through entrepreneurship and education.


Q: What is the one piece of advice you would like to share with other women looking to start an organization?

A. Don't doubt yourself and keep your eyes on the finish line.

A. Sponsor women-led, micro business innovation programs in Kenya; sponsor a child of an impoverished woman entrepreneur; visit on a mission trip; volunteer grant-writing or other professional skills; spread awareness; join our community.


Q: Who is the greatest female influence in your life?

A. Jane Anyango, a sister, a friend, an inspiration -- and the head of Rose Women's Businesses.

Q: Please share with us something that you want other women around the world to hear.

A. Love everyone even when it hurts, because the greatest gift you can give a woman is love. A ROSE is a symbol of love, and as women we can be roses in our communities. Multiply with greatness and spread your petals as far as you can.
